I love black with white dots more than anything else. I use it in almost everything I create…whether in the ribbon, on the beads, or in the painting. I have a board on Pinterest named “White Dots on Black“! I made this wish box using my favorite of course.
These are the materials I used.
At the same time that I was spraying coats of black, I was spraying red on other projects and pieces, including this little heart to put in the box using Krylon‘s Cherry Red.
When it was totally dry, I added white accents (dots and stripes with Folk Art white paint from Plaid and a polka dotted wooden ball, also spray painted in the black round. I glued the heart to the bottom of the inside with Aleene’s Tacky Glue and printed little dream cards to fit inside. You can download them to print if you want some of your own.
It makes a great little gift for someone you love!
Here it is all packaged up and ready to give. Of course I added a button! Now to decide which friend would like it most…
