Be Kind Handmade Cards

Kindness matters.  It is free and it makes the biggest difference of anything I’ve known.  These Be Kind handmade cards are super adorable and easy peasy to make.  They are fun to send to friends and also as thank you notes.  I don’t know about you but I LOVE getting cards in the mailbox.  This post is sponsored by Xyron, the makers of the Creative Station, but the ideas and opinions are my own.

Be Kind Handmade Card

What do you need to make Be Kind handmade cards?

To make the cards you will need the following supplies and materials:

  • Xyron Creative Station or Creative Station Lite with the Adhesive Cartridge
  • Card Stock in Rainbow Colors (I used the papers I designed for Adornit)
  • Blank Cards and Envelopes
  • Die Cut Machine or Letter Punches (I used Cricut Explore Air 2)
  • Black Marker
  • Twine or Ribbon

How do you make the cards?

Here are the steps to make the Be Kind handmade cards.

Start by making your letters to spell out Be Kind.  This can be done in a variety of ways.  I designed in to be cut with my Cricut Explore Air 2 then cut it out in all six colors.

Feed the letter through the Creative Station.  This will give them a totally adhesive backing on every letter.  When they come out of the Creative Station, there will be a film overlaying the letters.  Peel that off and the letters are ready to use.

Stick the letters to the cards. Add twine or ribbon if desired.

Write a note and send it off to someone you love or appreciate.  The Creative Station is awesome because it also has cartridges to create magnetic backs AND it laminates.  I LOVE this magnetic project.

There are LOTS of great ways to use the Creative Station to make things for home, school, work, parties and so much more.  I think it is simply an awesome tool!

Spreading kindness feels so good to the person giving it out, the person receiving it AND everyone else who is around it.  There are so many ways to create kind relationships in this world.  This is just ONE way.  This blog has lots of kindness crafts on it.  I encourage you to share your ways with everyone you know so we can all work together to create a kinder world.

Be Kind,

Laura
