This is one of my favorite doodle techniques…doodling with glue and adding color with water color paint. Using Aleene’s Tacky Glue for this works great because it is thick and doesn’t run. I used this method of creating to design this adorable Easter wrap.
I doodled a bunny, chick and flowers this morning and let them dry all day.
When they were dry, I used water color paints to add color.
While the paint was drying, I wrapped up a couple of boxes of Peeps with recycled brown packing paper. Then I painted some green water color grass and a stem on each.
I used a Sharpie marker to add a few details to the dry water color doodle art.
Then I cut them out.
The last step is to use Aleene’s Tacky Glue to adhere them to the wrapping paper.
And here is the other one.
Happy Doodling with Glue,
Laura
