Ingredients for Butterbeer Fudge
- 3 c sugar
- 12 T unsalted butter
- ⅔ c evaporated milk
- 1 – 10 oz bag butterscotch chips
- 1 – 7 oz container marshmallow cream
- 1 t rum flavoring
- 1 ½ c mini dehydrated marshmallows

Directions to Make Butterbeer Fudge
Whether you are a Hufflepuff (like ME) or come from any of the other houses, I feel confident you can follow these simple steps to make a batch of the best butterbeer fudge. I even believe in you if you are a muggle!
Step One
Prepare an 8×8 inch square pan by lining with parchment or foil. Spray with a light layer of non-stick spray. Set aside.
Step Two
In a large stock pot, combine the sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Heat over medium low heat. Stir occasionally while the butter milks, trying not to splash the sugar up the sides of the pot.
Once the mixture comes to a rolling boil, stir constantly. The mixture can scorch very quickly, so keep it moving and stir constantly.

Boil for a solid five minutes or if you have a candy thermometer, boil until 234 degrees.
Remove from the heat and working quickly, add the butterscotch chips, marshmallow cream and the rum flavoring. Stir thoroughly until the chips melt and the mixture is cohesive – scraping the sides and bottom to ensure the mixture is well combined.
Step Three
Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread in an even layer.

Sprinkle with the dehydrated marshmallows and gently press into the mix to stick.

Step Four
Allow the fudge to set for about 2 hours at room temperature until firm. Cut and serve.

It is not only beautiful to look at but 100% delicious to eat. It makes a great little giftie for all of your Harry Potter loving friends too!

This sounds and looks great, perfect for any Harry Potter fan! We had Butterbeer when we visited the Harry Potter Studio tour near London over 10 years ago now, I think we are well overdue a return trip!
