Create darling ornaments with items from the dollar store to commemorate Girl Scout cookie season!
These are truly so simple and so much fun to make. They can be made with skinny or wide craft sticks as well as felt or paper. The felt will last much longer over the years of being packed and unpacked with the holiday ornaments. Let’s make one of the best Girl Scout Craft Ideas ever.
Materials and Supplies
- Craft Sticks
- Kunin Basic Felt or Paper (Browns and Green)
- Twine
- Glue (The Super Fabri-Tac holds great and dries fast!)
- Scissors
Directions
This craft works best with an adhesive that dries fast and works with wood as well as felt. While hot glue works, it is dangerous for kids. The Super Fabri-Tac works GREAT!
Step One
Start by laying out the craft sticks to form the base of the cookie booth. It can be any size but three crafts sticks on the bottom with one on the top works perfectly when using the wide ones. Put a dab of adhesive on each one lining up where the next layer of sticks will go.
Put the second layer of sticks (one on each side) over the glue and press gently. Let this dry in place for a bit while doing the next steps.
Step Two
Using the felt, cut out and make several cookies. These do not have to be perfect, just close and fun. Remember that being creative is about adding your own flair to the project. The cookies should be small enough to all fit on the the front three sticks
Step Three
Cut out little triangles to create a garland for the cookie booth for these Girl Scout Craft Ideas. Glue them to a piece of twine leaving ends to glue to the back of the booth frame. If this is too hard for little hands, they can do something different. I will show you another option in a bit.
Step Four
Cut out the Cookie Booth sign from the free printable. Glue it to the front top of the booth.
Glue the cookies onto the front too.
Step Five
Add twine for a hanger by either tying it on or gluing it.
Here is a second one of the great Girl Scout Craft Idea cookie booth ornament.

- Cut them up to make cards, gift wrap and decorations.
