Faith makes things possible, not easy. I find that having faith in myself and in my choices creates lots of possibilities, often times following through on the choices is not easy. I am thankful for my family and friends and the amazing amounts of love that I receive daily. I woke up today wanted to create something with a purpose!
I started out with this blank paper and new Tombow blenders (brand new)…and an clear mind and heart.
On my bulletin board that I made for the upcoming “Me and My Peeps Blog Hop” is a picture of my dear friend Suzanne’s dad, Skip Frakes (aka Grandpa Frakes)…his picture on the front of his funeral program. It has been four weeks today since he passed on. His memory makes me smile. It makes me sad and at the same time fills my heart. He was an art teacher and a creative soul with a spirit that lives on in Suzanne and her two daughters (Kylie and Emily). His smiling eyes looking at me from the wall made me think about life, about faith. So I opened my pen and doodled this saying.
Then I used my favorite colors to make it BRIGHT!
I put it on the cover of a composition book with Tombow’s super awesome adhesive strips to create a place for writing, sketching and privately sharing thoughts…a diary of sorts.
I am going to give it to Suzanne and her girls to use for writing notes and memories and lists and whatever else they want.
Love and Faith are such important things to hold in my heart on my journey. Together they create relationships and possibility, not always an easy path but one worth traveling.
Happy Creating and Loving,
