Free Valentine Party Printables
Nothing beats a quick recipe that makes an adorable mix AND free printables to match. This one little sheet has everything you need to make tags AND wraps to go around drink bottles or cupcake wrappers.
Look at these adorable ways to use the tags.
How Do You Keep The Cereal Mix?
This will last about a week in an airtight container or jar on the counter. If you plan to make a large batch and keep it longer, you can store it in the refrigerator too. Because none of the ingredients really need to be chilled, it isn’t going to go bad outside of the fridge. It will just get kind of not so crunchy.
Who is Cupid?
“In classical mythology, Cupid (Latin Cupīdō [kʊˈpiːdoː], meaning “passionate desire”) is the god of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection. He is often portrayed as the son of the love goddess Venus and the god of war Mars. He is also known in Latin as Amor (“Love”). His Greek counterpart is Eros.” So basically, cupid is powerful when it come to love. That is why the arrows he shoots make people fall into true love. So of course, we should all make Cupid Crunch, right? His mother is Aphrodite and for the record, she is my favorite god is Greek mythology.
More Valentine’s Day Ideas for Kids
I put together a whole bunch of great ideas for kids and Valentine’s Day. These could be used in a classroom or at home so they are super versatile. Please use the ideas up and share them with you friends. This post has crafts, printables and more in it just waiting for you.
Valentines Day at School
It may seem as though it’s obsessive to give cards to every kid in the class. Furthermore, your child may even complain about giving cards to kids he doesn’t like. However, the reasoning is simple enough. Giving cards to every student is the best way to avoid hurt feelings. If your child expresses concern about giving cards to everyone, don’t dismiss them. However, make sure he understands that it is not negotiable.
Here are five great reasons to support Valentine’s Day in the Classroom
- Giving cards to all classmates creates an opportunity to practice kindness.
- Also, making Valentines and making boxes reinforces creativity.
- Working with kids to create their Valentines is a great way to connect and talk with children about friends and classmates.
- Plus, It is FUN.
- Writing names and signing cards is great for developing fine motor skills.
Cheers to Kids, To Valentine’s Day and to Cupid Crunch!
