It is Day THREE of Thirty Days of Christmas with Me, Laura (#30DaysofChristmasWithMe) already! Snowman soup has been around since I was growing up. We made it. We drank it. We loved it. We still do. Here is a creative little version that is awesome for those times when you have to have lots of favors or gifts for classmates, teacher or friends.
You will need the following ingredients: Individual Hot Cocoa Packets, Candy Canes, Marshmallows! Additional things you can add are fun straws, chocolate chips and sprinkles.
If you want to download the printable inserts you can get it free here! It is a PDF so each insert will print bigger in horizontal format than in vertical.
Simply put the different ingredients into a clear bag that fits them well. I get mine from ClearBags.Com. Use a ribbon to tie them closed and make them cute.
I cut out the snowman from the printable and added him to this straw flag that came in the package from Cupcake Creations that I purchased at Jo-Ann Fabrics with Glue Dots. The straws are paper so don’t last forever in hot drinks. They work best with room temperature hot cocoa for kids.
SO CUTE!
There are so many variations of this project and ways to create it. Please share if you do it and take photographs. I would love to see what you come up with.
Happy Staying Warm and Drinking Snowman Soup,
Laura
