I love to doodle and lately I have been finding myself creating a lot of rainbows. I am not sure if I have the St. Patrick’s Day bug, am feeling lucky or just simply loving using all of the bright colors. Whatever it is, this is my latest creation…a garden of flowers doodled in seven layers to create the colors of the rainbow.
I doodled flowers with seven layers on watercolor paper.
I chose from my awesome collection and chose the seven Tombow markers that I wanted to use for the rainbow aspect.
Then I colored them in the order of the rainbow colors using seven of my favorite Tombow markers.
Next I cut them out and then attached them to sticks.
I used Tombow’s Power Tabs to attach a couple of buttons to the flowers then I put them in a jar with a little burlap to hold them in place. The point end of the sticks worked great in the burlap.
I love the way that they look in my studio.
My favorite part of this is definitely the inspirational words that remind me to shine bright.
