I spend a lot of time working on projects that are part of bigger plans than my own creation. Sometimes I am working to support a brand that I love. Sometimes I am creating as a part of a cause united by a group of bloggers. It is a rare occassion that I spot a DIY idea that totally inspires me and STOP to create it myself. So, I decided to just do it. With our new black kitten in the family, we are a tad black kitty obsessed. I saw this project on Google+ by Positively Splendid and decided that I simply must make a soft kitty.
I went to her site and downloaded the pattern. You can go there and get it too!
Then I sewed. And Zoe sewed. And Jordan Sewed. We stuffed them with Poly-Fil from Fairfield World and all of a sudden we had a litter of kittens. I love the little black felt kitty that Zoe made.
They are keeping Mogi company today because he got his shots and he is sleepy adorable.
Thanks Amy at Positively Spendid for the great pattern and the fabulous way that you share your ideas!
Cheers,
Laura, Mogi and the Girls
Oh my goodness-so cute! Love the kitty in the basket! My cat’s always liked to nap in my Longaberger baskets. LOL
Laura, these kitties are so cute! I’ve got to make some too!
Absolutely aDORable!! And I’m referring to both Mogi and his cutie-pie stuffy friends! 🙂
