Yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby in Wilmington, NC with my friend, to run in a grab a FEW things. Two hours later, I left with a cart FULL of fabulous finds. I usually share projects when they are complete. Working backwards (because I am too excited about my finds), I am sharing my purchases by project grouping. I know, kind of silly. I will post the projects and I do them but for now….check out this great stuff!
To start with, I got lots of Rit Dye!!! I had to search for it because it was with sewing stuff, not in the aisle with all of the other dyeing products. Luckily I am motivated and determined and found it in the most peculiar of places. I wonder why they put it way over there?
I am most excited about dyeing and playing with these baskets. They were on sale. SCORE. I LOVE baskets and organizing my “things”.
I am going to make an awesome backpack to give my favorite niece. Kassie, if you read this…yes it is for you!
I am going to make a fabulous Halloween banner! Did you know that Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday by a long shot.
…and some decorative Halloween sack towels to go with!
It is going to be great fun to dye for the Christmas season starting with these ornaments.
Aprons are great fun for holiday baking with little friends. I am going to dye and embellish these with lots of love.
Paper crafting is something I love to and mixing it up with other materials makes me happy. This is going to be fun…paper crafting with these pretty papers, fabric and Rit Dye in holiday colors.
I love to do projects with the kids too so am looking forward to making some pom pom accessories.
I think these colors will be stunning on this shoulder bag with the fabric flower. Purple and Fuchsia go together like macaroni and cheese.
I am going to start with this adorable apple box project today. Back to school season is so exciting when we start getting creative at our house and making it fun.
I couldn’t do these projects without my awesome buttons that are manufactured and sold by Buttons Galore and More. I betcha I will use every color in the collection by the time I finish these projects! I love them best because within every assortment, there are different shades and sizes of the color. It allows me to be way more creative than using buttons that are all exactly the boring old same.
Okay, so that is TEN! I will stop there and get busy. If you are interested in making things with color using Rit Dye, I would love to know. I think I know how I can get you some. If you want to enter the contest to win a bunch of dye, Laura Kelly buttons and a $50 Gift Card to Amazon, you can enter here!
