Truthfully, I LOVE frosting.  Having disclosed that…these sprinkled sugar cookies with Bakers Party Shop are pretty darn awesome without it.  They are also much healthier.  That is what I am telling myself anyway.  There is a trick to getting sprinkles baked INTO the cookies and I am sharing it today.

Sprinkled Sugar Cookies

STEP ONE – select your sprinkles!  This is a big choice!

Sprinkles

Once you have prepared your dough and rolled it into balls, place them one at a time on a plate of sprinkles!

Sugar Cookie Ball

Mash them into the sugary goodness.

Put them on the baking sheet.  I bake on top of parchment paper.  Bake following instruction for your recipe.

They are awesome to give as bright cheery gifts!

I like to place them in these darling ice cream cups and then into a bag.  I tied the handstamped gift tag (used one of our personalized stamps from Expressionery) with bakers twine.  You can get all of these awesome things over in Bakers Party Shop.

  • Sprinkles
  • Ice Cream Cups – Stripes
  • Ice Cream Cups – Dots
  • Bakers Twine

Of course the ice cream cups are pretty fabulous for ice cream too!

Cheers to sprinkles on everything and the darling ice cream cups and spoons,
