My friend Laura Bray is not only super kind and sweet but amazingly talented too. She does a lot of the same things that I do. She is a mom. She is a wife. She is a friend. She designs, creates and makes things. She is an artist, and a really good one. She recently created this fabric design and made it available on Spoonflower. She send me some and this is what I did with it. I stitched up a bridal kitchen shower gift from a torn flour sack towel. This is just one of the awesome projects in the Fork It Over Blog Hop!
I cut the ripped part of the towel out and turned the two pieces into a dish towel and a sack bag to hold wooden utensils.
When I got the package from Laura in the mail, it made me so happy. I mean, come on….how cute is this?
Of course, when it was all done, I added a little gift tag that I made with one of my newly designed stamps from Expressionery!
If you like the things that I share and what I do, you will LOVE Laura Bray. You can follow here on her social media in the following places…
My tip to you is to never throw anything away until you determine if it has any further possibility. This torn sack towel turned into something magnificent.
Cheers,
Laura
