I am sharing how I am packing for a day at Disneyland without kiddos. That is right, I am going with my blogging buddies later this week. I have found that preparing for the adventure with girlfriends is exciting and so different. The magic of the parks comes alive in a totally different way when I am there as a grown up and have time to allow myself to access my inner child. I love taking the kids and all of the dreams that come true for them when we are there as a family but there is a serious bit of excitement here when I get to go and not have the mom responsibility. I mean, look at that smile! That is me when I was there a few months ago with just one friend. Yes, we had front row seats for the parade! Imagine the magic with a whole group of us who love each other and when in each others’ presences laugh, sing and dance through the days. If you are planning a trip to Disney, I recommend using Get Away Today to save money and help with the details.
I believe that Walt Disney and his legacy have much to teach us all when it comes to accessing our best selves. A trip to the park is one of the best ways I know to ignite my inner greatness that I need for my career as an artist!
Here is my list…
I love how much imagination and creativity Walt Disney caused to be planted in our world. This is my favorite quote.

How to dress for a day at the Happiest Place on Earth, in layers and comfortable shoes. It can be warm in afternoon and cool/cold night while watching the parade, fireworks. Bring a backpack to free your hands. Do not your ears. Helpful hit Walmart there in Anaheim have Disney sweatshirts much cheaper. In new Orland square is the best food mint juleps and binquets with soup in the bread bowl. I grew up down the street from Disneyland and it was my first job. We were blessed to watch fireworks every night.
