Back to School Bookmarks and Tags

These back to school bookmarks and tags are great for marking a page in a book or decorating supply jars.  I mostly love that they are sock monkey bookmarks!  They can also be used as a reading tool to keep the place of the emergent reader.  They are so fun to make because they feature one of my favorite crafting tools, the Creation Station from Xyron.  This post is sponsored by Xyron but the ideas and opinions are my own.

Create a darling Sock Monkey Bookmark in Three Easy Steps

To make the bookmarks and tags you will need the following materials and supplies.

Start by using the die cut machine to make the base bookmarks and tags.

Cut out the shapes you want to use to decorate your bookmarks using either scissors or the die cut machine.  The sock monkey die is fun because it offers so many different possibilities.

Run the shapes and designs through the Creation Station to turn them into STICKERS!  I love this because the backs are totally covered with a fabulous adhesive.

Place the stickers on the bookmarks.  Some of them will require trimming around the edges if you use big shapes.

Add a ribbon using the luggage tag method (or tie a bow if you want…)!  Ta Da!

Which one is your favorite.

My favorite is this one because it has my initials on it!

This would be a great way to make personalized gift tags too!  Can’t you just imagine how darling they would be tied to a festive present?

Cheers to making things that create joy and have a fabulous purpose too!

If you want to get yourself a Creative Station that makes stickers, laminates AND makes magnets, you can grab it online.  This link is an affiliate link so if you buy it, I make a tiny bit of money and that helps keep this blog going…

Yay,

Laura
