I have been so disturbed these past few weeks. My inner voice is screaming at me to do something. My Mom has been in my dreams for nights with messages to stand up and make a difference. I miss her. I decided to do this small but hopeful meaningful outreach project. I would love for you to join me and support. I made 25 DIY Creativity Kits. Each kit has the pieces needed to make a card, a tag and a gift bag. From felt and paper to ribbons and embellishments, the recipient of this will have what she needs to create something with love.
The cost of the kit is $10 and includes everything show above AND a tape runner donated from Tombow AND hand cream from Udderly Smooth. I hope to sell all 25 kits and deliver them to the Colorado Muslims Community Center (which is down the street from me) along with Girl Scout cookies that I will purchase with the extra money. If I get to make more, I am totally in. Girls standing for girls and supporting girls all around is my goal. They have a Women’s Group and I bet they would LOVE this support.
This matters to me because I strongly from my deepest parts of my soul believe that ALL girls deserve their best chances. It does not matter their ages, their colors their beliefs of their histories. We are all in this together.
