Create a darling craft stick DIY Hogwarts letter to create an iconic piece of the Harry Potter Wizard Magic.

Did you know that Harry Potter received his letter for Hogwarts through the Muggle Express. The sender knows it the recipient has read the letter and until they do, it keeps coming and each time – multiplies.
Materials and Supplies
- Craft Sticks, Jumbo – Dollar Store
- Craft Sticks, Regular – Dollar Store
- Craft Felt – Red
- Acrylic Craft Paint – White, Ivory
- Paintbrush
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Scissors
- Marker
- Decoupage Medium
- HOGWARTS LETTER PATTERNS

Instructions
STEP ONE
To create the front and the back of the Hogwarts Letter, line up five jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to width and attach with a glue gun and glue sticks.

STEP TWO
Measure two regular craft sticks to 3 ¼” and then cut whit scissors. Attach in a triangle pattern to the back of the Hogwarts Letter with a glue gun and glue sticks.

STEP THREE
Basecoat the front and back of the Hogwarts letter with white acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

STEP FOUR
Dry brush ivory acrylic craft paint along the edges of the front and the back of the Hogwarts letter to give a distressed appearance.
STEP FIVE
Download, print, and cut out the Hogwarts letter patterns. Trace the three pieces of the wax seal onto red craft felt with a permanent marker. Cut out pattern pieces with scissors.

STEP SIX
Layer the three felt pieces on top of each other, securing with a glue gun and glue sticks.

STEP SEVEN
Glue the red felt wax seal to the back of the Hogwarts letter envelope, at the base of the flap.

STEP EIGHT
Cut out the address printable, and attach to the front of the Hogwarts letter with a paintbrush and decoupage medium. Let dry completely.
