Easy Cricut Ornaments for Christmas

Christmas is coming and it’s going to arrive fast.  I am already getting things going around here and making ornaments is part of the fun.  You can whip up these quick and easy Cricut ornaments for Christmas this year.  I made all four of these in about 15 minutes with my Cricut machine and am super excited to share them with you as part of an online blogger sharing party called Holiday Crafternoon!

Okay, let’s take a quick look at all of the awesome ornaments that my blogger friends made.

  1. Tis the Season to Sparkle – Artsy Fartsy Mama
  2. Gingerbread Cricut Ornaments – Pineapple Paper Co.
  3. Joyeux Noel Mini Farmhouse Sign Ornament – Celebrating Everyday Life
  4. DIY Paper Christmas Ornaments – Abbi Kirsten Collections
  5. DIY Sloth Ornament – Brooklyn Berry Designs
  6. Joy Christmas Ornament – SeeLindsay
  7. Christmas Teacher Cricut Ornament – Happy Go Lucky
  8. Easy DIY Christmas Ornaments –  Everyday Party Mag
  9. DIY Reindeer Hot Chocolate Ornament – Hello Creative Family
  10. Easy Woodblock Cricut Ornament – Me and My Inklings
  11. Easy Cricut Poinsettia Ornament – Kingston Crafts

Now, here are the directions to make the easy Cricut ornaments for Christmas on the wood slices.

Step One:

Cut vinyl circles out on your Cricut machine to apply directly on the wood slice.

Step Two:

Add a letter to personalize the ornament that also gets cut out of vinyl on the Cricut machine.

Step Three:

Add ribbon with hot glue to create a hanger and a bow or extra ribbon if desired.

I think the more ribbon, the better!

Coming up soon, we will be all sharing another holiday craft made with our Cricut machines!

Cheers,

Laura

  1. Christmas ornaments! So many to make! (Ps. what is the cute letter font – unless I missed you mentioning it – Thanks!)

  2. Both the “Follow Happy Go Lucky Blog on Instagram” & “Follow LauraKellyDesigns on Twitter” aren’t working for me, they are saying page not found. I found them manually on both platforms, though.

  3. I would love to make ornaments myself! Such cute designs! I would also find a cricut very useful in making banners and signs for civic events.

  4. I would make so many things!! I’d make wooden signs, tshirts, Christmas cards, Scrapbook layouts… i can’t wait to have my own Cricut and explore all the fun options!

  5. I love all the ornaments you made. I would try making some of those, if I was lucky enough to win this prize. Thanks!

  6. I would love to make some wooden signs with a cricut! Also, I would love to cut fabric for quilting projects!
