With Back to School comes the start of a new relationship, most of the time with a new teacher.  Some teachers are simply amazing and deserve to be treated to the best of gifts for the holidays and Teacher Appreciation.  As my kids have been growing up, I have been know to send it gifts at random times for no reason other than I respect the job that the teachers are doing and how much is impacting our family life.  When kids are successful, teachers should be appreciated.  It is without a doubt one of the most difficult jobs ever.  I know.  I was a classroom teacher.  Every kiddo is special, unique and different.  Every kiddo comes to school with a different story, different challenges AND different gifts.  If your kid is learning and likes to go to school, here are five awesome teacher gift ideas from a company that I adore.  Darn Good Yarn is all about creating a better world and they certainly have fabulous products to prove it.  I am thrilled to share some of my faves with you AND a great way to wrap the gifts too.  This post is sponsored by Darn Good Yarn but the ideas and opinions are mine.

Okay, let’s wrap!  Recycle a paper bag from the grocery or another store/restaurant.  Cut it open to get the biggest surface and remove the handles.

Wrap your gift/gifts and stack them up.  Wrap the package with Sari Ribbon and tie it up in a knot.

Add extra pieces to the knot to create a fluffy bow.

Another fun part of gift giving is the note that goes with it.  Cut part of the paper bag into a rectangle and fold it to create a card.  Cut a smaller one and adhere it to the inside to make it sturdy.  Punch two holes and tie Sari ribbon through them to create a bow.  It’s so darling and eco-friendly all at once!
