FriYAY Printable … a blogger reality check!

Being a creative person and sharing ideas with the world is awesome and I love it.  However, there are some times when I just mentally and emotionally don’t have it in me.  I am not willing to force content.  I am not going to promote brands for money that have nothing to do with my lifestyle or my truth.  I am only at my happiest when I am celebrating each day doing what makes my heart sing.  This week that wasn’t really much when it comes to the DIY and share it all bloggy world.  I did spend a lot of amazing time with my boys.  That is what mattered most and so that is what I did.   It’s FriYay and this is a blogger reality check!  I read a few things that my friend Dee shared and I heard some things that my friend Laura told me this week and feel very understood.  This morning I doodled this and shared it on social media.

This is what happened….I got inspired!  You see, my friends and family inspire me when they ask me to share something real…something me.  I got an email asking if it could be a printable.  What a great idea.  I know there are more of you out there who do what I do or do whatever you do and could use a break.

I made the printable so that you can color it and RELAX then list a few things that you shall do…for you.  You can download it FREE HERE!

Here is mine.  I copied it on watercolor paper then painted.  I added glasses with a permanent marker.  You can add whatever you want…ears, earrings, blush, freckles, curls!

It is on my fridge to remind myself that I matter and I get to do what makes me happy.  When I am happy, I am a nicer person, a better mom and an all around bigger joy to be with.

If you do it, share it.  I would love to see what you come up with!  If you share it on social, use the #FriYAYforME so I can find you.

Cheers,

Laura

  1. Love it. Thank you for being so generous with your work. The students with whom I work at the inner city school loved the page I printed for them to color last year. That kindness means a lot.

  2. Love this Laura!

    The printable is so fun!
    Thank you!
