Halloween Felt Board
Creating a Halloween felt board is a great way to celebrate the season and create something totally usable too. The felt board can be used for learning how to spell words, to create a way to share feelings and also a way to share messages. If you simply want to party, it is great for decorating too.
I started with an old cork board and covered it with black felt from Kunin Group. I am on the Kunin Dream Team because I have such a passion for creating with felt! I added this darling pom pom trim from Expo International around the edges using Ad-Tech hot glue. It works GREAT with felt.
To create the felt cut outs, I used two of my dies that I design for Ellison Education (aka Sizzix)…the pumpkin and the Lemonade Alphabet.
Pretty Fun, right?
Okay so maybe I took it a little far. I did cut out the girl from the Me and My Peeps die and turn her into a dressed up pumpkin. I mean come on now…who doesn’t love to get ready for trick or treating. She even has a bag that I made with the same die.
The ghost bag and the Frankenstein pillow were both shared earlier this week. You can check them out HERE.
A few of my favorite creative friends shared fun ideas this week too with Kunin Group felts and trims from Expo International. Check them out.
Cheers to creating Halloween fun with felt, pom pom trims and dies from Ellison!
