This post is sponsored. In exchange for me sharing my own opinions and thoughts, Universal provided our dinner.
Last week we were in Universal Orlando for a few days and oh my goodness, we had fun! We were celebrating Dawson’s EIGHTEENTHI birthday! SO, before I go any further, let me share a photo of him (and Dylan) at Universal for his 6th birthday! Later in this post am sharing a picture of them with milkshakes. They have grown up so much! Being at Universal throughout the years has provided our family with so many fantabulous experiences and memories so his choice to be here for his eighteenth made my heart so happy!
Like always, we stayed on property because that is totally the way to go. I can’t wait to tell you about that but first I simply must share our experience at the new restaurant in City Walk, The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. It is hands down the coolest, funnest and yummiest place to go. Seriously, we might fly back to Universal JUST FOR THE MILKSHAKES (or even the straws which totally stole my heart!).
Okay so let me start at the beginning, from the outside. The Chocolate Emporium is located in between the two main Universal park entrances. From the outside, the magic begins. Check out these photographs!
The entryway is simply amaze balls!
Immediately inside the doors you are offered several choices (after gawking at the amazing decor). You can veer to the left for ice cream delights. You can walk straight to the hostess stand to be seated at a table for full dining. Or, you can go to the right and SHOP for amazing and unique sweet treats and delightful gifts. My favorite decor that grabbed my eye upon entry was the cocoa beans!
We ate a full dinner and my pickiest eater (the eighteen year old birthday boy) left his comfort zone and started out with Truffle Fries –
Shredded parmesan, fresh herbs with white truffle oil! He LOVED them. Both of my boys ordered totally differently and I tried their dinners as well as mine. All of them were gourmet-licious!
And them MILKSHAKES happened. Check out this menu JUST for milkshakes!
We tried three different ones and each was more elaborate and delicious than the next. I had the Peanut Indulgence –
Peanut butter ice cream, Snickers, Reese’s peanut butter cups, peanuts and fresh whipped cream! Not only was it to die for, but it came in a plastic jar that I got to bring home!
Aren’t my boys darling with their milkshakes in City Walk. They were so full but determined to eat every bite so they took them to-go and ate them on the way back to our resort.
The service was fantastic. Our server was super knowledgeable and great with suggestions. When we were all done and back outside, the nighttime view of the restaurant was even more amazing than the daytime.
I went back the next afternoon to do some shopping!
I also visited the ice cream bar!
Seriously, if you go to Universal Orlando, you MUST at the very least eat ice cream here!
Truth is, we are headed back to Universal Orlando in January! This is first on the list of places to dine, stop for sweet treats AND shop. Until then, if you check it out, I really want to hear about your experience!
Cheers to All Things Yummy,
Laura
