Over the few years I have been creating, sharing and blogging things (ideas, crafts and recipes)…I have done several fun ones that together make a rocking kid style fourth of July party.   1. I love watching the fireworks with my family every year. We always have a big bbq that evening also.

  6. we’re at a family reunion every 4th of July on the lake — aside from family, friends, food and fun — the annual boat parade is the best as we decorate them for celebrating the 4th and follow with a bbq and fireworks

  7. Of course I love celebrating our country, but I also love that we camp at the same spot each year and watch the fireworks over the lake. There are about twenty of us that get sites near each other and we have so much fun!

  8. 4th of July was my dad’s birthday. We lost his 3 years ago and 4th of July will never be the same, but we will know that the fireworks we watch are going up for him.

  9. I do like attending Fourth of July Parties with my family. When I was younger, I used to enjoy the Firework shows.

My favorite thing about the 4th of July is that we always have a big seafood cook out and then we keep the grandkids (5) aged 2-5 and do things such as crafts with them and then we load up the car, get ice cream cones, and take them all to watch fireworks while we let the mommies and daddies all have a night out.

    On the 4th, I love the fireworks- and this year “Stranger Things” is our theme! 🙂
    I also love that my husband is now retired from the military after 27 years of service! We have had many July 4ths without him and are thankful that he is home with us! (We appreciate ALL those who protect our freedoms!)

  12. Well my birthday is the 5th of July so we will celebrate both usually which is fun. But what I love most is watching my daughters face when we are lighting off fireworks.

  18. Love the fireworks! The best display I ever saw was at Lake Tahoe…. spectacular! That was many years ago. I was hoping to go there this year for the 4th, but it’s looking like my plans have not worked out. Maybe next year!
