I am pretty happy to share my Laura Kelly studio tour photographs. These were all taken as a part of the photo shoot for Where Women Create Magazine, the issue that is on the newsstands now. The amazing photographer is McCall Bureau, a local Denver artist. Before I start sharing, I would like to thank Angie from Country Chic Cottage for putting together this tour of creative spaces.
It is always inspiring to me when I see other designers’ creative homes and so I hope this post somehow inspires you! Here we go.
Let’s start in my main studio. In most family homes, this is what would be the family room!
I used this space for paper crafting, painting, doodling, packaging, product designing and whatever else comes up. I LOVE my red cabinet so much.
I also love my wrapping station. I send a lot of packages out and LOVE to wrap. The, jars and wrapping supplies are all from World Market.
Here’s a close up.
I use a giant dining room table from World Market for a desk. I need a lot of space because I am messy. Above the desk are lots of things that were created by and given to me from artistic friends. They inspire me and make me happy.
You can see that I store things all out in the open…in baskets, jars, crates and whatever I can find. When I put things “away” … I forget about them and that never works! I love my stamps that I design for Expressionery and keep them out and ready to use.
And of course….my MARKERS from Tombow. I store them in a 6-pack holder.
My kitchen is part of my studio too. I do a lot of baking and keep a shelf with blogging and creative stuff.
I have a few sets of these blocks. I use them to make words that empower me. They are always changing with the seasons and my moods. Fun Fact: I LOVE sprinkles.
The dining room in our home is for sewing and fabrics and things like that. I LOVE my furniture with big open shelving and surfaces for working.
I wrote a whole post about the sewing studio and you can check it out HERE.
I love supplies…craft supplies…office supplies…baking supplies….SUPPLIES! Here are some of my favorites and ways that I store them.
YAY for crafty and creative spaces. I hope mine makes you smile! Check out all of the others!!!
Cheers,
Laura

Love the tour, such a nice space to get inspired and create. I need to get busy once this house is back together from our flooded kitchen. Might be using some of your storage ideas!
Thanks again for the tour!
You have such a bright and happy space. I love the fun pops of color and how open it is. Thanks for sharing!!
