LOVE in the Mail Card Swap

I recently was invited to participate in a a little card swap for Valentine’s Day.  The requirement was to make a hand-made card and send it to the next person on the list.  Of course, I said yes right away because well….making things out of paper is my jam.   The card swap is exciting to share because the creativity between participants varies so much.  I love to experience the ways that others create.  Here is the card I sent.

I sewed on the fabric hearts with my machine then added a little tag and some words.

I also created a little gift card holder with a couple of my favorite dies for Ellison and Sizzix.  The square pink badge is from the Badges Collection that I designed.

I stamped the back of both pieces with my Expressionery stamps and put it all in the envelope to mail.

Ta Da…off it went to Julia (who by the way blogs at Bunny Baubles with fabulous DIY ideas)!  This darling Valentine hoop art was made with by my friend Katie from A Sweet Berry Designs.  I love that she used my dies that I designed for Ellison Education, both the heart and the Lemonade alphabet.

I received a darling card from Ariel too.  Check it out!  Ariel blogs over at PMQ for Two with tons of inspiration.

Alright, time for 9 other amazing, unique and cute Valentine’s day cards from my fellow bloggers:

Sending love in the mail is such fun.  It is great for me because I really enjoy the creative process.  I also love to get love in the mailbox amidst the junk mail and things.

Cheers to Love and Sending Hand-Made Cards,

Laura
