Once completed, they are perfect for adding a touch of festivity around the house or at a party. I am excited to show you a few ways that I used the flowers to create home decor and party decor.

Directions for Making Clay Flowers
Start by kneading clay, one color at a time, to get it softened. Baby wipes are a good way to clean hand when changing from color to color without having them mix and transfer into each other.
Next, create the pieces for the flowers using your hands or tools if desired. This step can be as simple or as advanced as one would like.
Mold the pieces together. To get a smoother surface, press with fingertips or use a smooth tool. Be gentle but firm in ensuring that the pieces are securely together.
If adding wire or sticks to the flowers to make stems, do this BEFORE baking. If they aren’t 100% tight after baking, add a little E6000 to the opening and that will do the trick.
Bake following the directions in the packaging. Once completely cool, paint a thin coat of Sculpey Glaze on.
Create Polymer Clay Home and Garden Decor
Before I put flowers on wires in the jar, I added a few rocks at the bottom and some foliage in the middle. The rocks hold the wires in place when you stick them down in.
I love the frame almost as much as the photo that is in it. It is of Zoe in 2010 at the Fourth of July parade after winning a ribbon in the tractor pull! We actually made this frame together when she was 6 and get it out every year to decorate for the patriotic holidays in our home.
Okay, the flower is pretty crazy cute all by itself out in the yard now isn’t it? I love using Sculpey polymer clay to make things for fairy gardens too.
Polymer Clay Ideas are bountiful and a plenty for sure. It is a fabulous medium for creating and making so many different things. Decor makes my heart the most happy so I tend to end out making things for parties and my home more than anything else.
If you like this project be sure to save it for later and share in on Pinterest too.
Cheers and Happy Creating,
Laura
