Spreading kindness around a school staff can really support the overall morale and energy which ultimately support relationships. I spent the weekend with my principal friend working on some awesome projects for Back to School. We worked on creating a Random Acts of Kindness for a School Staff challenge to kick off the new year before the kiddos even come back. It came out super fun so I am totally excited to share it here with you, including a FREE download of the Random Acts of Kindness ideas and suggestions. This post is sponsored by Kunin Felt but the ideas and opinions are my own.
To make this Random Acts of Kindness for a School Staff board/project you will need the following supplies and materials.
- Foam Core Board
- Kunin Classic Felt in Desired Colors
- Beacon Fabri-Tac Glue
- Scissors
- Card Stock/Color Printer
- Cricut Machine for Lettering or Permanent Marker
- Ribbon to Embellish
Start by creating your lettered message on your board. If you want to cut out vinyl (or felt) on a Cricut Machine, it works great! Make a felt pocket (12 x 4 inches) and decorate it with polka dots in a contrasting color. I, of course, did black with white dots. Adhere the dots with Fabri-Tac. Glue the pocket on the sides and across the bottom to the board.
Cut felt polka dots in bright cheery colors (or school colors even) and add them to the board. This is a great way to use leftover pieces from past projects!
Add ribbon to embellish the board. Print and cut the School Staff Random Acts of Kindness Cards. You can get them HERE.
Put them in the pocket on the board and BAM, you are ready to create difference makers. If your school has a hashtag, add it to the bottom!
Alternate Project Idea – Wrap the pocket around a jar and glue it closed. Use the jar for your Teacher Staff Random Acts of Kindness Cards!
YAY for Spreading Kindness and Empowering Teachers to Support Each Other!
