Teaching kids to give back looks a lot of different ways. While feeding the poor and collecting items for the needy is all super, sometimes the biggest differences we can teach them to make is much closer to home. We were in Starbucks two days ago with the kiddos (yes, they all have their own rewards accounts – even Zoe) and noticed that they had employee stockings. We decided that we should make them all something to put in as little tokens of love from our family. After all, we are in there A LOT – for coffee, for friendship and for uplifting our physical and energetic spirits. We created these tiny clay Starbucks inspired red cups to commemorate the season and spread some joy. We made Tiny Red Cup Ornaments for Our Starbucks Team !!!
The girls made them with Sculpey’s Bake Shop Clay. I shared them on Instagram when they came out of the oven.
We baked them, added wire and ribbon along with a hanger.
Then we added a candy cane to each and packaged them up to deliver. Those cute tags were made with a stamp that I designed to license to Expressionery.
We are going to deliver them later today along with a stack of these coloring sheets. Because they are open today and tomorrow, ON CHRISTMAS, we plan to add a little love and creativity to the space. You can download it to design a cup too…right HERE!
These tiny red cup ornaments for our Starbucks team created a lot great conversations in my home…about working together, giving and being creative. I am thankful for those who work in retail and in restaurants all of the time, especially this time of year. I love when I can get my kids excited about giving.
Cheers to the team at our Starbucks who daily make our drinks, make us smile and make our days better.
Cheers,
Laura
