This old globe was in the trash at the neighbors house…so sad. I grabbed it right out and up-cycled it for Jordan’s newly redecorated room!
This is the before picture. It was rusty and well, old… I am sure the country lines have changed bunches since it was made.
It was easy peasy thanks to my awesome stash of Krylon paint. I used Ballet Slipper (Pink) to make it perfect. I took it apart, carefully saving the pieces to put it back together.

The I slowly sprayed the base and the metal pieces. I have finally learned that spray painting is a process that requires patience to get a good cover.
I let it dry then I put it back together. Ta da!
It is going to be awesome with her new fabric scrap garland, don’t you think?!
Happy Using Scraps, Re-purposing and Decorating,
