Make super mini donuts for the elf on the shelf and create yummy fun.
There are so many fun ways to hide the elf on the shelf in situations that are funny for the kids to find. This one is great because not only is it super easy but it also has an interactive element with the free elf on the shelf printable filled with donut fun. Ingredients
- Cereal (Fruit Loops or Cheerios)
- Powdered Sugar
- Water
- Sprinkles
Directions
Mix 1/8 C Powdered Sugar with a 1/2 T water. If it needs more powdered sugar to get a good consistency – add a little. The idea is just a wet glaze for dipping here.
Next, dip a size of the cereal into the glaze then into sprinkles poured out onto a plate.
Place them on a little piece of cardboard like a donut box look. Set aside to harden.
These can be made strictly as a prop for the elf on the shelf or can be made for delicious mini snacks. Use the free printable sign below to set the stage for the elves to be found.
