Fabric on Paper Easter Tags

It may be snowing but I know spring will arrive.  Easter is a fun holiday because it is refreshing and serves a reminder that new life awaits in nature and our hearts.  I recently discovered that Beacon’s Fabri-Tac glue works with adding fabric details and designs to paper (card stock) and I made new fabric on paper Easter tags for baskets.  They are so darling and of course, I am excited as always to share them with you here on the blog.  I have a huge stash of fabric scraps and a huge stash of paper card stock stash so I am thinking I will be making lots of tags like these. This post is sponsored by Beacon Adhesives but the ideas and opinions are my own.

Easter Basket Tags Fabric and Paper DIY

Gather up your supplies and materials:

Fabric Scraps

Start by cutting your fabric pieces out.  You can cut them freehand or you can use the pattern that I have created for 3 x 4 inch tags.

Glue the fabric pieces to card stock gift tags.  The Fabri-Tac works to glue the buttons to the fabric too!

Let the tags dry completely.  Add buttons of different colors to create details and dimension.

Add ribbon through the hole in the gift tag.  If you made your gift tags for fabric on paper Easter tags from scratch, you might need to punch a hole in the tag.   I looped the ribbon through like a luggage tag but you can tie it on however you like.

Add the tags to Easter baskets or gifts.  Ta da!

Fabri-Tac works great to adhere the fabric to the paper.  It also works to later the fabrics on top of each other.  I love it because it dries super fast!

Cheers to DIY fabric on paper Easter tags!

Laura

I shared an Easter project last year with a really darling bunny that used a different glue that I love from Beacon, felt glue!  Check it out!
