Free Printable Snowman Gift Tag for Microwave Popcorn Gifts

Create darling (and inexpensive) snowman themed gifts in a matter of minutes.

This is the perfect gift for kids to make for friends and teachers. The supplies can be purchased for inexpensive, even at the Dollar Store! Dollar store crafts for kids are great when there are lots to be make like gifts for the holidays. Of course these cute snowmen would make cute themed party favors or even a party craft.

Materials and Supplies

To make this fun gift for others, these re the materials and supplies you will need.

• Microwave Snowman Packets
• Card Stock (White, Black, Orange)
• Buttons
• Twine or Ribbon
• Therm-O-Web Tape Runner or Glue Stick for Little Kid
• Scissors
• Free Printable Tag (Download it below.)
• Hole Punch

Directions

Okay, let’s get started. These can be made in big batches or one at a time. If working with a group of kiddos, I recommend they each make one at a time.

Step One

For a piece of white card (8.5X11) stock in half.

Then cut on the line to get two pieces.

Step Two

Wrap one of the halves of white card stock around a packet of popcorn.

Use the adhesive to adhere it closed around the packet.

Step Three

This is the step where the snowman comes to life with the pieces that will make him unique. While I am showing how these pieces were cut, not that the hat and nose could be different colors, sizes and shapes.

Cut a hat from black card stock and use the tape runner to adhere it to the top of the wrapped packet of popcorn
Then cut an orange nose and stick it to the front.
Add eyes and a mouth with the black marker.

Step Four

Wrap twine around the middle of the snowman to create a scarf and a way to add the tag. This can be a single stand or multiple strands.

Step Five – Free Printable Snowman Gift Tag

Cut a tag apart for the printed download and punch a hole in it. Then tie it to the snowman using the twine for the scarf. This can be tied in a bow or left hanging. Note that yarn, ribbon or fabric scraps could be used for this step.
