Here are a bunch of last minute ideas to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Whether you do them all and make a party or choose one and create a little extra fun, I am guessing your family will appreciate your excitement. After all, it is a lucky day!
To make white candy covered bananas, used white Vanilla Candy melts and drizzle the melted sweetness over a couple of banana slices being held together with a straw. Quickly pour on some sprinkles (these are from Bakers Party Shop) and freeze until candy is hardened. Serve and enjoy.
If you have a friend who totally crushes on this holiday, make them a little gift bag with Kunin Group felt. I used my cupcake die that I designed for Ellison Education/Sizzix to make this one. To create the shamrock, I used the heart want from the Hot Cocoa die. I cut out three then trimmed two down to the heart tops and sewed the three pieces together.
A fun little surcee to give is a tub of Udderly Smooth wearing a leprechaun hat, also made from Kunin Group felt.
If you are looking for a fun activity, you can grab this printable packet in my Teachers Pay Teachers store, the Laura Kelly Classroom right here. It comes complete with a recipe, printables and activities that go with the cereal!
Rainbows are a super fun part of St. Patrick’s Day. Here are two fun rainbow projects from past blog posts. To find LOTS of ways to create rainbow projects AND get some printable free….click HERE!
Cheers to St. Patrick’s Day and Celebrating Everything,
