Create an easy themed sweet treat clock for one of the best New Year Dessert Ideas!

Making themed desserts for the holidays and celebrations is such a fun way to add personality and pizzazz. This rice crispy clock is so easy to whip up and is sure to be a hit with kids and adults. I mean let’s be real – who doesn’t love a good rice kristy treat?
Ingredients and Supplies
- 6 C Rice Cereal
- 3 TBS Butter
- 1 Bag (10 oz) Marshmallows
- SPRINKLES
- Round Baking Dish
- Black Frosting
- Candies for Numerals on Clock

Directions For Clock New Year Dessert Ideas
Melt the butter and marshmallows over low heat until creamy, stirring constantly.

Mix in the cereal.

Pour sprinkles to cover bottom of baking pan.

Press the cereal mixture over the sprinkles to flatten.

Let cool until the cereal mix has hardened. Add the numbers and hand for the clock with black icing.

Alternatively, flip the dessert over and put the numbers on the cereal side!

If desired, add candies for some of the number markers.
