Sharing creativity and supporting friends along the way is my jam. I am so glad you are here.
Candy Canes are a sure sign that the holiday season is in full swing! I love all things candy cane – from decor to recipes filled with peppermint.
This past week I have been busy doing a whole lot of self care and a little bit of making/creating. I did use crushed candy canes in this fun project that makes adorable chocolate spoons to mix into hot chocolate or coffee! Grab the details to make chocolate spoons!

If you are looking for a super fun activity to do with your family (or in your classroom), try this Candy Cane Hunt. There are FREE printables for the CANDY CANE HUNT here on the blog.

On a personal note, I find the holiday season one where I miss my mom more than ever. This will be my 21st Christmas without her and sometimes it just feels so dark. I found a perfect quote from Amanda Torroni and it has really helped me remember that it is the dark where we can glow.

ALL Things Candy Canes

WEEK #2 Features
I cannot love this beautiful wreath enough! The candy cane striped ribbons really makes it stand out as a gorgeous pop of color for the holiday season. I really do love all things candy cane! You can drab the directions to make this Cluster Wreath over on DIY Beautify. Cindy shares lots and lots of amazing home decor ideas that are completely doable, even for beginners.

Justine from Little Dove Blog has so many great crafts, recipes, printables and even TRAVEL tips. I love this idea for candy canes. We always have so many leftover each year and after seeing this, I might buy even MORE!

The little candy cane that completed the Altered Christmas Teacup by Little Vintage Cottage won my candy cane loving heart. This is such a great way to use all of those little holiday pieces to create one magnificent work of art. Go grab the directions on Tania’s blog.

My Favorite Candy Cane SOY Candle
How festive and beautiful is this SOY candle that I found on Etsy?
This candle comes from a candle maker named Chris Schneider from Dream Scents Inc!
He has TONS of great scents. Go check out his shop on Etsy! It is always a good idea to SHOP SMALL!

And OF COURSE, there is a candy cane sticker in my shop!

Project Creative Friends – Let’s Link Up!
I am so excited about the Project Creative Friends LINKY PARTY! Just like a kid at Christmas, I cannot wait to see what everyone will post and share from their uber-talented blogs. The variety of inspiration is amazing and awesome. From recipes to crafts to home decor to upcycled furniture to kids’ crafts and Free Printables. Y’all are so super artistic and brilliant. I love this creative community that I am a part of. Everyone is so supportive, encouraging, and caring. It’s just like catching up with friends every week.
The rules for this Linky Party are simple:
- Please visit me on social media and say HI! I can’t feature you if you aren’t following us on at least one platform.
- Share up to THREE family-friendly – crafts, recipes, DIY, home décor, printables, etc. – linked to a specific post – not your main website URL.
- Please don’t link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other linky parties, or any sales promotions, we appreciate it.
- Help us spread the word about this party by sharing the Creative Crafts Team Linky Party button in your post or sidebar. Use the hashtag #projectcreativefriends when sharing on social!
- It’s not a party if you aren’t mingling! Visit other links at the party because it’s always nice to leave comments and pin from the original source.
By linking to the Project Creative Friends Linky Party, you give me permission to share your post and images on my blog and social media. I will always give proper credit with a photo and link back.
