I don’t know about your kiddos, but most of the ones I know are not big fans of Thanksgiving stuffing. This sweet maraschino cherry stuffing for Thanksgiving is a game changer. It is super yummy and has a touch of sweet that makes it delicious for kiddos. Whether cooked inside a turkey (makes it much more moist) or in a baking dish, it is sure to be a hit. This post is sponsored by CherryMan but the ideas and opinions are my own.
CherryMan maraschino cherries are grown in the USA (Oregon and Michigan). You can learn more about their growers on their beautiful website.
There are a few tricks to making the stuffing kid friendly. Of course the more cherries you add, the better to get started. It is also really helpful to cook the onions in butter before adding them to the stuffing mix to bring out their sweetness.
Gather up your ingredients and get started.

I have to admit, I tasted it before it was ever cooked and it was kind of like a delicious chop sandwich.
Stuff your bird with the mix and then bake any extra in a baking dish. If you cover the baking dish with foil, it will support holding in the moisture which makes it way better.
So, yum, right? Maraschino cherries are such a fabulous way to add sweet yummy flavor to dishes. CherryMan has the biggest, yummiest ones of all so be sure to look for them on your grocery shelves.
If you are collecting Box Tops over the holidays, here is a fun way to keep track of them.
Cheers to Stuffing and Cherries!
