Here goes… Traveling Tips and Treats for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter #UniversalOrlando ! Oh my goodness…FOUR more days until we are at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is my last post and I am so excited to be sharing out countdown and a few travel tips. Getting ready for this adventure has been pure fun! We have been planning and mapping and counting days. If you are going to Universal Studios, you can book your trip at Get Away Today HERE and save money with the coupon code Ink2015.
For the plane ride to Orlando (almost FOUR hours), I have the girls pack their backpacks with the following items.
- Book to Read
- Tablet to Play On (Electronic)
- Headphones
- 3 Healthy Snacks from the Lunch Packing Basket
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Drawing Paper
- Small Stuffed Animal
I add a treat bag with surprises for them to put it too. This is what is in it! First of all, chocolate frogs. I made them with a mold I ordered online.
I melted chocolate (Enjoy Life Chips because they are gluten free and allergy friendly) , poured it in and refrigerated it. They are going to LOVE them. I even packed them with wizard cards.
I also added a small artist portfolio with felt (Kunin Group) that I made to match their dolls (which I made last week).
If you are wondering about that little pink puffy thing…it is Ginny Weasley’s and it is a Pygmy Puff.
It has pockets for supplies and room to put the coloring sheets that I made them too. This one is the newest.
They asked me to make one with my doodles from the countdown calendar we have been water coloring each day. I printed the coloring sheets half size to get them small. You can download it HERE.
The others are all on the blog in earlier posts. I will round them up after we return.
Until we get back and have tons more to share…
CHEERS,
Laura
