Under The Sea First Birthday Decor

My little neighbor is turning one and her mommy asked for some under the sea first birthday decor.  With the colors of blue and green for the theme, I got to work with my stash of felt from Kunin Group and my Sizzix Big Shot machine.  It was super fun and I am thrilled to share my creations!

To make the banner, I cut out a bunch of fish in blue and green using the die that I created for the ‘Calendar Set’ – titled Fish #4.  I sewed them to a long strand of ribbon with a few circles.  Ta Da!

I made the birthday girl her own place mat, also using the fish die.  I hand cut a large number ONE to go on it too and stitched around the edges to make it a little more festive.

So Cute!  The hat is darling and fits her perfectly.  I even made the pom pom on top with some green yarn.  To spell JAYDA, I used the Lemonade Upper Case Alphabet that I designed for Sizzix and then glued the letters to the party hat.

And these…these adorable crabs on straws.  The crab die is a part of the ‘Fish Bowl’ die in the Pet Shot set.

The straws are darling in giant cupcakes or treats.  I got these darling cups and sprinkles from Bakers Party Shop.

it’s so fun to just whip things up and see them work together.  These all go great with the game I made for Shark Week so I sent it to the party too.  You can read about it HERE.
