Learning how to use colored foil for crafts on paper is super easy with the right adhesive and papers to make sparkling cards and Valentines.
Creating papers, foils and stamps for Therm-O-Web has been so much fun. While I love to create projects and cards with them, I love it even more when I see what all of you make. Be sure to tag me in your creations on social media so I can see and share!

Directions to Make Foil Dots on Paper
This is one of the most fun and simple ways to add a pop of color and sparkle to any paper crafting project. For those of you who don’t have a heat laminator but want to add foil to your projects, this is for you.
Step One
Cut our your card stock shapes (hearts in this project) or use a full card if desired.
Step Two
Add adhesive Zots scattered around the card stock. Note that card stock is preferred over paper because it is more durable and will work with greater ease.
Step Three
Place the colored foil for crafts SHINY SIDE UP over the dots and gently press onto the adhesive.
Gently pull the foil off of the card stock and the dots will be sparkly and shiny in the color you chose.
Use Polka Dotted Foil Hearts to Make Valentines
There are so many ways to use these darling hearts to make Valentines. My favorite is the mini popcorn box for adding chocolates or a little gift.
Colored Foil for Crafts and Valentine Idea One
Use 3-D Foam Squares to attach hearts to the box.
The stamp collection has so many darling sayings and this is the favorite for Valentines – You and Me! Stamp on the matching color of card stock then fussy cut around it.
Then, use the 3-D foam squares to add it too.
Idea Two
Cut a piece of toner paper and adhere it to the front of a card along with a decorative strip of scrapbook paper (or washi tape)!
Add the paper crafted heart and stamped image with 3D foam tape to create a super simple and gorgeous card.
Valentine Idea Three
Use the same techniques as above but add the heart and sentiment directly to a solid gift bag. Tie it up with a ribbon or a bow.
