Washing hands in the educational environment is one of the best ways to keep a healthy classroom. I created a hand washing activity and station to reinforce this very important practice. Because we are in Colorado, it is dry. Lotion is super important to keeping skin healthy. Of course, not matter where you live, if you are in the classroom you are probably washing your hands a lot. Lotion is always a good choice. I love Udderly Smooth because it works without being greasy or smelly. This post is sponsored but the opinions and ideas are my own.
To make the soap cover, I used decorative card stock and covered it with packing tape to seal it. The cow bell is a great little add on that the kiddos can flick with their finger when they are done to reward themselves for washing their hands. It is the little things!
To create a hand washing routine with your students, be sure to practice. Along with the darling sign, I created cards to hold up as you practice washing your hands in the air as whole group.
It’s just so cute.
If you love Udderly Smooth as much as I do, you might love to give it as a gift. This post from a few weeks ago has awesome ideas for giving it to teachers or parent volunteers.
Cheers to Back to School Season and Bright Cheers Classrooms,
Laura
