These BRIGHT happy teacher appreciation gifts are perfect for giving any time of year. While gifts are mostly given to teachers for Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week and end of year, I think every day is perfect.

Teacher Appreciation Week is in May! You know, the week when kiddos bring in things for their teachers to show them how loved they are.  I taught school AND I have four kiddos so I get this celebration from the inside out.  I know that my favorite things to receive were the ones that I wanted so badly but felt guilty buying for myself.  I spent my money on my classroom and students but rarely ever on myself.  So, I try to give teachers what they would want.  I have to say that some of these markers and pens from Scentos are amazing! I even made you a FREE DIY Teacher Appreciation Tags for BRIGHT Supplies!

HAVE an ART PARTY – BAKE a CAKE

If you are throwing a celebration of any kind, make it art themed. I created this darling cake to look like some of the characters from Scentos and y’all – it was awesome. This is how I did it in just a few easy peasy steps.

Step By Step Cake Decorating Directions

  1. Buy a quarter sheet cake UNFROSTED from your local grocery bakery.
  2. Cut it into 5 equal vertical slices.
  3. Cut the corners off each side at one end of each slice.
  4. Cover each slice in a different color of fondant.
  5. Make eyes, eyeballs, mouths, tongues and teeth from fondant to decorate.
  6. Line the pieces up side by side to look like they are all besties hanging out in a pack of markers.

Create a Darling DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift with Scentos

Gather up some of the supplies that you think your teacher would like best. For me – that would be the fine line markers and the gel pens! Either tie them together or put them in jars to create darling, bright and happy energy.

About Scentos

Scentos are made at WeVeel and launched in 2009. They create all kind of fabulous art supplies and fun crafts for kids of all ages. They have tons of great pens, markers, crayons and doughs that SMELL like fun fruity things. One of the most fun things about this line of bright, cheery products is the array of adorable quirky characters. You can download the list of them right HERE from their website.

I kind of love their motto because it lines right up with my come from in life. – Innovate. Create. Inspire.

Of course, if you’ve been around this blog for long then you already know that I LOVE to spread creativity and kindness through giving back. The GOAL at Scentos is to GIVE BACK!

I grabbed this right from their website. “WeVeel’s headquarters has been located in the heart of Morrisville, Pennsylvania since 2009. We believe that giving back to our community is extremely important. Every year our employees volunteer their time to participate in local communal events. We value our teachers and make sure to donate products every year to classrooms in need all around the country.” I think that giving back to teacher with DIY Teacher Appreciation gifts is the best idea.

Their products are manufactured in the USA and can be found at most everywhere you shop. I love when I spot them in the Dollar Tree and at Walgreens. You can also find them at Walmart, Michaels and Staples.
