I am sharing the forty best pot luck picnic recipes I could find .  This post was inspired because yesterday I was asked by a young kiddo I love, “What is Labor Day?”  I had to pause and answer with a very vague answer followed by an honest reply of, “I don’t know.”  Well according to Wikepedia Labor Day in the United States of America is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It honors the American labor movement and the power of collective action by laborers, who are essential for the workings of society. It is the Monday of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend.  It is mainly celebrated with barbeques and cookouts.  I gathered a few of my favorite recipes for taking to a pot luck gathering and am sharing them here, along how to create a successful picnic with teenagers!
