Whip up a batch of no bake wreath cookies for the Christmas Cookie Exchange.

These darling cookies are so delicious with the chocolate candies mixed into the marshmallow cereal mix. Note that if you want a touch of cinnamon, you can add cinnamon candies as a substitute for the chocolate candies. These are super easy to make and perfect to add to lunchboxes and after school snacks during the holidays too.
Ingredients For Wreath Cookies
- 20 large marshmallows or 4 c of mini marshmallows
- 2 T unsalted butter
- Green food coloring
- 4 c corn flakes
- ¼ c cinnamon candies or red M&M’s

Directions to Make Wreath Cookies with Cornflakes
Prep your work space with parchment paper. We also recommend having non-stick spray available to coat your hands to prevent sticking while shaping the wreaths.
Parchment Paper – This is the BEST way to line baking pans and dishes. It is great for pouring melted candy too.
In a large, microwave safe bowl, combine the marshmallows and butter. Heat for 30 seconds at a time and stir well between each interval until the marshmallows and butter have all melted and the mixture is smooth.

Working somewhat quickly, add in the green food coloring and stir well. Start with a few drops and continue to add more if needed to reach your desired shade of green.

Add in the corn flakes and stir well – use those muscles and be sure to scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl where the marshmallow is going to try to hide.

Coat your hands in non-stick spray and section of about a ½ cup’s worth of mixture and shape into a ring.

Place this wreath on the parchment and repeat until all the wreaths have been shaped.
Again, working somewhat quickly, place the red candies in place and press to secure them.

Allow the wreaths to set for about 30 minutes to cool and set up.
