Summer is almost here! I can feel it when the farmers’ markets open up, even if it still chilly here in Colorado. We went as a family yesterday morning to the one at Southland Mall and had a blast. I am so excited to share our farmers’ market baked potato bar. It all happened (with a huge tossed salad too) for a mere $10, thanks to Miller Farms. I am not even kidding. We filled a bag up for TEN DOLLARS that fed our entire family a huge awesome freshly grown and cooked meal.
Look at this fun time. Grandma Helen is shocked by this crazy big sweet potato. She bought in her bag. Stay tuned, we have big plans for her bag too! And that awesome smiling lady is Edna. She is super friendly and all around helpful and fabulous.
We got home and Zoe organized our bag of fresh produce on the picnic table.
Well, actually, that was after she modeled the $10 bag of veggies!
We got busy right away and cleaned the potatoes to get them in the oven. They were HUGE and we knew they needed some extra baking time.
Check them out! That one second from the left is seriously 8 inches long!
While they were baking, we got everything else ready. We prepared these adorable little tags from my printable to make sure it would be super fun! You can get it HERE.
We got lucky. The sun came out for just a peek of a bit of time and we got to have our potato (and salad) party outside.
Truth…I could have been really content with just a lot of butter and salt.
This is my potato!
I know, yummelicious! Look at my happy family with their loaded potatoes!
The veggies we didn’t use in the potato bar went into the salad.
We had LEFTOVERS!
Check out Miller Farms on Facebook HERE!
They can be found on the web too…right HERE! I know where we are going to get our pumpkins this year!
And if you are in the Denver area, go get veggies from them at the Farmers’ Market. You will be thrilled. Pinkie Swear!
Lastly, if you want to get the Potato Bar printable, you can buy it over at ShopLauraKelly!
Cheers and Happy Cooking,
