Looking for a great game night – SPUD style? This recipe and game are a perfect SMASH up! Potato Skins Air Fryer Potato Style are a great alternative to the traditional Loaded Potatoes. They are loaded with cheddar cheese for absolute perfection!

We love playing games in our family. Luckily, we are surrounded with friends and other families who also love game nights. It is normal to have games packed in the bags for road trips and vacations around here too. Getting stuck in an airport is A-OK when there are good games like GIMME THAT from Dolphin Hat Games in the bag.

Ingredients for Potato Skin Recipe Air Fryer Style

The biggest trick to this recipe is preparing the potato skins ahead of time. They need to be baked however to most love to bake potatoes then cut in half with the guts removed. OF COURSE, save the guts for another awesome recipe like SMASHED POTATOES! Of course you will need an air fryer too! This is the one I have and LOVE!

  • 10 potato skins
  • 1-2 cups cheddar cheese (The MORE the better…)
  • Spray Oil

Toppings

  • Bacon Bits
  • Sour Cream
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • MORE CHEESE

Directions

  • For the Potato Skin Recipe Air Fryer Style – Prep potatoes ahead of time. Bake then cut in half and scoop out the flesh!
  • Line up potato skins into a row in an air fryer basket. Spray them down with oil.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes at 360°F.
  • Top each potato skin with a generous handful of cheddar cheese.
  • Air fry for 5 more minutes or until they are browned and the cheese has melted.
  • Top with items from the toppings list!

These potato skin recipe air fryer style are perfect for game night because they are hearty and delicious. They don’t require silverware so can be eaten between rounds with fingers. Of course it is always a great idea to have napkins nearby!
