  1. My favorite thing about Halloween is the whole atmosphere of all the excitement coming from the trick or treaters.

  2. Halloween was fun as a kid but I like it more as an adult. I get to sit on the couch watching a movie, with a bowl of all the candies I like and see the cute costumes of the neighbor kids when they come to the door! I’m not sure if I’m really looking forward to when my kids can trick or treat. My oldest is two and while he knows what it is, he thinks you only go to Grandma’s house for the candy. Not sure where he got that idea but I’m not going to set him straight just yet. I just love the sitting at home thing. ?

  3. I love seeing the kids in their costumes. I love to see their smiling faces. I also love to decorate my home and yard.

  4. My favorite thing about Halloween is watching my daughter choose a costume and dress up as this character she picked out all on her own and given it so much care. She has so much fun from beginning to end.

  5. We love handing out candy on Halloween. My favorite thing to do is greet the Disney princesses with a curtsey and saying “Oh Queen Elsa! You’re here!” Their little face absolutely light up.

  6. I like seeing the community come together and doing something fun for kids. It’s neat to meet your neighbors and see the trick or treaters.

  7. I didn’t celebrate Halloween for many years, so I’m just kind of starting to get into it. I do love all the Halloween candy, though. Reese’s Pumpkins for the win!

  8. My favorite part of Halloween is how creative my daughter gets. She starts making costumes and decorations, it’s amazing!

  9. I love sitting in the driveway with our bucket of candy, lighted pumpkins all around us and sipping on a beer while we get to chat with neighbors as they go by with their kiddos!

  10. My favorite thing about Halloween is the candy – Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups especially. I also like to see little children in their cute costumes.

  11. My favorite thing about Halloween is that the weather is cooler and kind of spooky with the falling leaves and the days getting shorter. It just makes the holiday more fun. Also, the fact that you don’t have to fix huge meals or buy gifts is another great thing about Halloween.

  12. I love decorating for Halloween! You can go all out and be really creative and it is so much fun. We always love it and end up in gales of laughter too!

  13. Making decorations, I create props and carve craft pumpkins, usually put out 30 pumpkins for the big night.

  14. I like the decorations. I also like that it’s the start of the holiday season. I just love this time of the year.

  15. Halloween is so much fun for kids and adults alike. Great time for people to dress up in costumes and have fun.

  16. I love decorating my home for halloween and seeing all the cute trick or treaters. Thanks for having this contest!

  17. Beautiful scenery! The visuals of the season. The phenomenon that makes the leaves turn to brilliant colors of red, yellow, and orange
