These darling pocket clay tokens are so fun and simple to create. Add them in a card and send them through the mail or pop them in to a gift for an extra touch. They are also fun to leave with a tip for an exceptional server or sneak on to a teacher’s desk. Wherever you give them, you are sure to make a difference.

Materials and Supplies Needed

  • Sculpey Souffle Polymer Clay
  • Rolling Tool
  • Stamp
  • Round Cutter (1 1/2 inch)
  • Silicone Mat
  • Cookie Sheet and Oven for Baking
  • Sculpey Satin Glaze
  • Paintbrush

Directions to Make Clay Kindness Tokens

Start with a quarter of a 2 oz package of Sculpey Souffle clay. This new color is Citron and it is simply unique and original.

Roll the clay in you hands to soften then use the rolling tool to flatten to about 1/8 inch thick.

Use a cutter to cut a perfect circle from the rolled out clay.

How to Stamp on Polymer Clay

Stamping on polymer clay isn’t hard but in order to get a good stamp there are a few tips. Make sure the clay is evenly rolled out for the best results.

Press the stamp in gently. If you press too hard, it can go through the entire piece of clay. If your impression isn’t the way you want it, simply roll the clay back up and try again.

Baking Sculpey Souffle Clay

Sculpey Soufflé™ is an oven-baked clay and does not air dry. It stays soft until it’s baked, so you can safely store and reuse any leftovers for subsequent projects. Once you’ve molded your Sculpey Soufflé™ clay into your desired creation, you can place it on a baking tray or sheet and bake it at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch of thickness.

Once the clay is out of the oven and totally cooled, it is fun to add a thin layer of glaze to make the tokens shiny.
