Sticker Easter Eggs
Spring is the perfect season to get out your Creative Station and whip up some sticker Easter eggs. Kids love to make homemade crafts for Easter that can be used for decorating and this project is fabulous. It is a great way to use extra scrapbook pieces (also known as crafting your stash). The final sticker Easter eggs make a great garland that is cheerful, bright and happy. This post is sponsored by Xyron but the ideas and opinions are my own.
Supplies Needed
- Xyron Creative Station
- Extra Adhesive Cartridges if Making A Lot
- Paper Eggs (I cut these out on my Cricut Maker)
- Scrapbook Paper
- Hole Punch
- Bakers Twine
- Decorative Scissors
Directions for Sticker Easter Eggs
Cut out your eggs. I used my Cricut Maker and cut them out using an egg shape from Cricut Design Space. The start by using scissors to cut long strips of paper from the decorative pieces. If you have scissors with decorative edges, now is the time to use them. If not, simply cut zig-zag and waves with standard scissors. Keep it mind the size of the paper eggs you plan to make so that they will be proportionate.
Run the strips (and any other fun shapes you desire) through the Creative Station Lite to turn them into stickers.
Peel off the film cover.
Peel the stickers and apply them to the paper eggs. It is okay if they go over the edges.
Trim around the edges and add any doodles or messages in the white areas with a black marker.
Punch holes in the tops of the eggs and string them together to make a garland.
I LOVE this one.
While you have your Creative Station our and are creating spring decor, here are two more fun projects.
