Udderly SMooth Booth at SNAP

I am so proud to have been able to support and promote Udderly SMooth at SNAP this year.  Not only do I love the products, but I love the company.  It is family owned and has just a really special story.  When I talked with them a while back about SNAP and we determined that I would be a good fit to design their booth, I was ecstatic.  I had so much fun creating the space and the happenings that took place in it.

Most importantly…

These are the top 5 lessons I either learned or was reminded of from other booths I have done in the past.

  1. The cuter the booth, the more excitement it creates.
  2. Having an interactive component (like a cow head for photos) creates engagement.
  3. Providing marketing materials that are audience appropriate supports follow-up communication.
  4. Offering product samples in a way that is festive and fun supports relationship building.
  5. Partnering with other companies to create the space promotes cross-marketing.

Here are a few of my favorite thing about the booth.  I will start with the decor.  I made the garlands using fabric scraps for the top one and felt cows for the bottom.  I actually designs a custom die with Sizzix to be able to die-cut the cows!  It was a super cool process.

Meet Hamish the Highland Cow!  He was such a hit.  Attendees took their photos with him non-stop.

We had some cute signs too, sort of like a barn-ish photo booth.  This barn door was made especially for SNAP by Midge’s awesome husband.  If you want to see some silly pictures of people posing with Hamish, check out the #udderlysnap on Instagram!

And then there is the product…it rocks.  With all of the travel and trade show mingling, there is A LOT of hand washing.  This hand cream is the bomb and it works!!!

We had lots of fun things for the attendees to take and make themselves a goody bag.  Here are a few of the super fun items.  The stress cows were loved bunches.

I designed a coloring book with all cow designs for the conference.  They came out stellar.

What would a coloring book be without Tombow dual brush markers to go with it?

I sewed 350 bags for the conference and together with these beautiful Offray ribbons and mini cowbells, they made adorable goody bags.

Rina from Mothership Scrapbook Gal and I created paper crafting kits with the other custom cow die that I designed and they were gone first.  Everyone loves to create and make at SNAP conference!  The darling cow paper and the mini red clips are from Canvas Corp.  They really made the kits fantastic.  We both do Crafty Happy Hours where we live and get together with others to make things using kits like these.

If you like the tag and want a custom stamp made for you, you can grab one on Expressionery.  This is one that I designed!  YAY!!!

I snagged one and made this!

It takes a team to make this happen.  Laura Neiman painted the signs and helped me put it all together.  Madge Gillen, Midge Palmer and Rina Gonzales all took turns along with Laura and I to support Linda in answering questions and talking with fellow bloggers.  All five of us are ambassadors for Udderly Smooth.
