It all started when we found the whoopie pie pan at Michaels yesterday after church. We have been wanting to make macaroons and get trendy around here but weren’t sure how to start. The pan looked like the solution. The great news is that the recipe comes on the inside of the pan packaging…SCORE! We did adapt to make them vanilla flavored with a chocolate cream inside.
We baked them and let them cool.
Then we filled them with the creamy middles and put them together. Of course to make them super cute we added a little melted Wilton chocolate with sprinkles on top. Ta Da!
They are awesome and so easy to make! I think this is our new thing! I love baking with my kids. I especially think it is awesome sauce fun when they get into the sharing part. J rocked the photography.
Fun fact…whoopie pies are great for breakfast with chocolate milk topped with whipped cream.
They are pretty darn cute packaged up and tagged with a stamp that I created using one of the designs I license to expressionery.com too.
Happy Baking,
Laura (and Jordan)
Yum! These are adorable and I’m sure my kids would love to make some as well.
It’s the next big thing! Macaroons are the new cupcakes. I thought tiny bundt cakes were the new trend? I guess there’s room for all the tiny cakes! I can’t wait until pies take over the world.
Total yums! My son would love this.
These look awesome and so fun too!
I am totally going to make these. They are so cute.
These whoopie pies look absolutely amazing! I MUST get one of Wilton’s pans so I can make some too!
These look fantastic! I’ve never made my own woopie pies, but you make it look worth giving it a shot. Thanks!
I think my granddaughter would love making these – they look simple enough for her. And yes chocolate milk with whip cream is the absolute best for breakfast. Cathy
